Job Overview Universal Healthcare Solutions Insurance Agency, Inc. (UHS) a full service agency has immediate openings for Medical Group Customer Service & Enrollment Representatives. Excellent compensation and opportunity for career development. If you are a motivated, sales minded individual with excellent customer service skills and a positive work ethic, this position is for you. You will help Medical Group clients grow their managed care practices by assisting eligible individuals understand their healthcare coverage options and assist them to enroll into programs that utilize the service of the Medical Group. Responsibilities Make outbound calls and receive inbound calls to current and new patients to provide enrollment assistance in Medicare, Healthy Families/No Cost Medi-Cal, Individual and group health programs. Assisting patients who loose eligibility for coverage through the Medical Group and helping them find or enroll in a new program at the Medical Group or at in-home appointments. Completing and submitting routine activity reports. Increasing job knowledge by participating in continuing education opportunities. Reading professional publications, continuously working on improving knowledge and skill sets. Enhance insurance agency reputation by accepting ownership of agency goals. Requirements Ability to organize work, set priorities and make productive use of time. Ability to accept changes in routine. Ability to follow direction in practices and procedures. Ability to talk with others by telephone, in a patient, pleasant and cooperative manner using standard, grammatically correct English/Spanish. Neat, clean, businesslike appearance. Able to work cooperatively and with a positive manner with staff associates. Ability to compose brief business correspondence, using correct spelling and grammatically correct English. Working knowledge of computer word processing, Reliable Transportation and Valid California Drivers License Required.
